Introducing myself
Hi, this is Md. Masud Parvage. I am a person who is positive in every step of life. There are so many things I like to do. I love reading, I love writing and reciting, I like to think , I'm dreaming, I mean, I like listening, to see the sunset in the evening, I like to see the moon at night and I want to feel the sea breeze. I love watching the white clouds in the sky with a white and a blank mind; I like to experiment when I can not sleep in the mid night. I like ‘Dolon Chapa’ in every spring, I like to sleep late but I like to get up early, I like to play with the children, I’d like to be alone and to be surrounded people. I love the quiet of the countryside, because the noise of the city, I love simple food and normal shoes, I like to go to the slum, I love Child movies, as like ‘The Railway Children (1970)’, Emil and the Detectives (1931), ‘Dipu Number 2’ (1996), Bhoothnath (2008) and so on. I love my country and the nature of beauty, I like people and I like to laugh. I like to be favor and last of all I hate the ‘Child labor’.Professional Background:
As a social worker at present I am doing a job in a project of UNICEF under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

As a Social Worker here's my Job Description:
• Identify children facing difficult circumstances
• Assessing and reviewing a child’s situation
• Building trusting relationships with deprived children and their families
• Collect supplementary information needed to assist client, such as employment records, medical records, or school reports.
• Responding to requests for help
• Develop strategies to help the client cope and improve their overall well-being
• Agreeing what practical support someone needs (or making decisions for them when necessary, such as in child protection cases)
• Acting as a key worker, coordinating other professionals involved in providing support
• Offering information, counseling and advocacy
• Organizing and managing support plans
• Taking part in team meetings and case conferences
• Supervising team members and volunteers
• Maintain case history records and prepare reports.
• Develop and review service plans in consultation with clients, and perform follow-ups assessing the quantity and quality of services provided.
• Serve as liaisons between students, homes, schools, family services, child guidance clinics, courts, protective services, doctors, and other contacts, to help children who face problems such as disabilities, abuse, or poverty.
• Serve on policy making committees, assist in community development, and assist client groups by lobbying for solutions to problems.
• Respond to emergency or crisis circumstances like child labor, child marriage, corporal punishment and natural disasters.
• In case of emergency provide any kind of administrative support to the project office.
